Employment type: Fixed Term (12 months)

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Work setup: Hybrid (open to 2x a week in the office)

Work schedule: 10AM to 6PM Manila time

Pay range: Php 102,000 to Php 139,000

We are recruiting for a Senior Integration Engineer who will be part of our central Data & Integration team. In this role, you would design, build and maintain re-usable APIs and interfaces, primarily on the Mulesoft platform, and help developers across the organisation achieve success on this platform.

You would get exposure to our Integration platforms such as Mulesoft Anypoint and AWS Services and help ensure best practices for integration engineering are up to date and adhered, specifically with API-led Connectivity.

What will you do as a Senior Integration Engineer?

As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be at the forefront of orchestrating data products, services, and platforms, focusing on creating robust and scalable integration solutions. Your expertise in Mulesoft, AWS Technologies, and other integration platforms will be pivotal in driving technical delivery, enabling seamless data flows, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • Educational Background: University degree in a numeric or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Integration & Engineering Experience: Proven experience in engineering data products and orchestrating services, Strong hands-on work with Mulesoft and AWS technologies, Proven track record of technical delivery and leadership.
  • API & Data Knowledge: Broad understanding of API-led connectivity, data methodologies, and best practices and ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ways of Working: Comfortable working within Agile methodologies.

In addition, experience, knowledge or expertise in the following would give you an advantage:

  • Mulesoft & API Development: Mulesoft certifications (MCD1, MCD2, MCPA, MCIA), Skilled in Mule 4 using Anypoint Studio, including DataWeave for transformations, Knowledge of API specifications (RAML/OAS) and REST standards, and High comfort level with JSON for data modelling and presentation.
  • Cloud & Deployment Skills:Experience creating CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and Background in AWS, Azure, or other public cloud providers.
  • Programming & Database Technologies: Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, and Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and GraphQL.
