The ideal candidate has three primary responsibilities. Cloud Architecture, Cloud Build, and Cloud Automation.
For Cloud Architecture: to design a well architecture cloud framework based on the project requirements, capacity, latest trends and technology in cloud. The engineer will focus providing technical feedback to the planning team and work with development team to build the desired infrastructure whether IaaS, PaaS, Containers and Orchestrators, and other cloud native technologies.
For Cloud Build: once an infrastructure plan has been made, the job of cloud engineer is to provision the infrastructure based on the given specification, conduct a hand-over plan to development team, and transition the project to Ops Team. He or she should be able to uncover areas of improvement in the plan, have proposed enhancements, and communicate to the rest of the team for potential updates.
For Cloud Automation: to automate the provisioning of cloud infrastructure, develop pipelines for continuous deployment and delivery to improve the delivery time of containers, and other cloud related infrastructures. Together with the team, he or she will be developing automation scripts, infrastructure as a code, and making use of containers and orchestrators to optimize IT efficiency.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years of actual work experience on architecting infrastructure and solutions on AWS
- Must be a graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in courses related to Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc
- At least 3 years working experiences in AWS Cloud, IT infrastructure, and or DevOps.
- At least 1 year actual work experience in Kubernetes.
- At least 1 year actual work experience in Containers (Dockers).
- At least 2 years actual work experience in CI-CD.
- At least 2 years actual work experience in Infrastructure Automation / Cloud Automation using any of the ff technologies:
- Ansible
- Terraform
- Cloud Formation
- Jenkins
- Infrastructure as a Code
- HELM
- Background in Linux
- Basic Programming or Scripting experience
- Preferably with experience in AZURE
- Preferably AWS Certified (Solution Architect / AWS Developer).
- Should be versatile in learning new technologies, and be agile to future proof the business.
