Platform Engineering Intern

About the role:



Under the supervision of the Platform Engineering Team Lead, the intern is responsible for contributing to, creating, refining, and maintaining processes and procedures for applications and production systems within Trax platforms. The role provides an opportunity to analyze technical architecture, application usage, dependencies, and potential points of failure. Additionally, the intern will identify both external and internal interfaces and update technical documents and work procedures. The ability to take direction from supervisors as needed is required.



About the Responsibilities:

• Analyze the technical architecture of systems and application usage.
• Identify and document application dependencies.
• Assess potential points of failure within systems.
• Identify and document both external and internal interfaces.
• Update technical documents, work procedures, and instructions as needed.
  
  
  

About the Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or any related courses.
• A good academic record
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, JavaScript and Shell scripting).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook).
• Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work and ability to work in teams.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule (most likely 12:00 noon to 9:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 12 mn)
